Phase I - Application
- Complete Application - Online Questionnaire
- Selection Committee Review - Annually in December
- Interview before December 31st [by telephone conference call]
Phase II - Train the Trainer
- Candidates will attend a train-the-trainer session with a qualified training methods instructor and a senior CAC instructor
- Each candidate will be required to team teach a Fundamentals workshop with one of the qualified CAC instructors, who will evaluate the candidate's performance
Phase III - Final Selection
Final selections will be made by the committee and recommended to the CAC Board of Directors for approval
Criteria and Caveats
- All applicants must have proof of attending the CAC's Fundamentals of Compressed Air Systems and Advanced Management of Compressed Systems training and have relevant professional industry experience
- The Train the Trainer sessions will only be scheduled if applicant fees cover 100% of training costs; trainings will not occur more often than once every two years
- The CAC is not responsible for scheduling trainings for instructors and does not guarantee that trainings will be available for all of instructors annually
